Thomas W. Giacomini
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Giacomini

Mr. Giacomini was appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer of JBT Corporation as well as a member of the JBT Board of Directors in September 2013. He was elected as Chairman of the Board in May 2014.

Prior to joining JBT, he served as Vice President (since February 2008) of Dover Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer, and President and Chief Executive Officer (since November 2011) of Dover Engineered Systems. Prior to serving in these roles, Mr. Giacomini served as President (from April 2009 to November 2011) and Chief Executive Officer (from July 2009 to November 2011) of Dover Industrial Products and President (from October 2007 to July 2009) of Dover's Material Handling Platform. Mr. Giacomini joined Dover in 2003 following its acquisition of Warn Industries, an industrial manufacturer specializing in vehicle performance enhancing equipment. During his 12 year tenure at Warn Industries he held a variety of leadership roles including President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Warn Industries, Mr. Giacomini held various roles at TRW, Inc.

Mr. Giacomini holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan (Dearborn).

David C. Burdakin
Executive Vice President and President, JBT AeroTech
David Burdakin

Mr. Burdakin joined JBT in January 2014. Mr. Burdakin became Executive Vice President and Presidentof JBT AeroTech in May 2014. Mr. Burdakin joined the company from Mayline Corporation, a private equity owned industrial company, where he most recently served as Non-Executive Chairman.

Mr. Burdakin has over 25 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and executive leadership.  Previous to Mayline, Dave served as President and Chief Executive Officer (2007 to 2012) of Paladin Brands, a leading independent manufacturer of attachment tools for construction equipment including mobile aviation support equipment. Prior to that, he progressed through various leadership roles at HNI Corporation (1993 to 2007), including seven years as President of The HON Company, HNI's largest operating company.  Prior to joining HNI, Dave held various roles at Illinois Tool Works Inc. and Bendix Industrial Group.    

Mr. Burdakin holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.

Jason T. Clayton
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Jason Clayton

Mr. Clayton joined JBT in September 2016 as its Executive Vice President, Human Resources.

Mr. Clayton has extensive industrial experience and a broad HR background, including leadership roles in talent acquisition and management, and compensation. Prior to joining JBT, Mr. Clayton served as Vice President, Human Resources for Signode Industrial Group, an industrial packaging company since October 2015. He served as Vice President, Human Resources, with IDEX Corporation from July 2010 to September 2015.  Prior to that, Mr. Clayton served in a variety of HR management roles with Pepsi and Newell Rubbermaid.

Mr. Clayton holds an M.S., Human Resources, Industrial Relations, from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from the University of Florida.

Brian A. Deck
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Brian Deck

Mr. Deck joined JBT in February 2014 as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in May 2014.

Prior to joining JBT, Mr. Deck served as Chief Financial Officer of National Material L.P., a private diversified industrial holding company (since May 2011).  He served as Vice President of Finance and Treasury (from November 2007 to May 2011) and as Director, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (from August 2005 to November 2007) of Ryerson Inc., a metals distributor and processor.  Prior to his service with Ryerson, Mr. Deck had increasing responsibilities with General Electric Capital, Bank One (now JPMorgan Chase & Co.) and Cole Taylor Bank.  

Mr. Deck holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from DePaul University in Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois.

James L. Marvin
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
James Marvin

Mr Marvin joined FMC Technologies, Inc., the predecessor to JBT Corporation, in April 2003 as Assistant General Counsel. Subsequent to JBT Corporation’s spin-off from FMC Technologies in July 2008, Mr. Marvin became the Deputy General Counsel and Secretary of JBT Corporation. He assumed his current role in May 2014. Prior to joining JBT’s predecessor, Mr. Marvin worked for Heller Financial, Inc., a financial services business, for 7 years, serving as its Corporate Finance Division Counsel and then as its Chief Corporate Counsel. Mr. Marvin was a partner with the Chicago-based law firm, Katten Muchin & Zavis, a firm he joined in 1990, where he primarily represented financial institutions. Prior to that, Mr. Marvin was an associate at O’Connor Cavanagh Killingsworth & Beshears, in Phoenix, Arizona, practicing securities law. Mr. Marvin received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.

Debarshi Sengupta
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development
Debarshi Sengupta

Mr. Sengupta was named Executive Vice President, Corporate Development in April 2016.

Mr. Sengupta joined JBT in September 2009 as a Business Planner in Corporate Development. He assumed leadership of Investor Relations and Financial Planning & Analysis for JBT in June 2011. In January 2014, Mr. Sengupta was named Vice President, Corporate Development and IR. Prior to joining JBT, Mr. Sengupta worked as a consumer and retail investment banker at Banc of America Securities.

Mr. Sengupta holds Master's Degrees in Engineering Management and Business Administration from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering and Kellogg School of Management, respectively, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Steve R. Smith
Executive Vice President and President, JBT FoodTech
Steve Smith

Mr. Smith became the Executive Vice President and President of JBT FoodTech in May 2014.

Previously Mr. Smith served as our Vice President and Division Manager-Food Processing Systems (since October 2011). Mr. Smith joined FMC Corporation in 1989 as a Business Planner with FMC's Petroleum Equipment Group in Houston, Texas. Since then, he has served in a variety of sales, marketing, and line management roles within FMC Corporation and FMC Technologies, Inc., JBT's previous parent companies, as well as with JBT FoodTech, including most recently serving as the General Manager for the America's Operations of FoodTech's Food Solutions and Services Division (from 2003 to 2011).

Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
